Celebrated R's 30th birthday. Played games, watched football, got in hot tub, told stories, and ate a lot! On Saturday night we sat around the fireside and told stories. Also took a trip to the apple orchard in Blue Ridge and walked through the roads here in te neighborhood.

It was beautiful and warm during the day and cool enough for a fire at night. We went to the arts and crafts show, hiked the to the falls, played games, cooked delicious meals, and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and hot tub. We played ping pong and it was really fun! We also watched the sunrise each morning and watched the stars and moon each night through the telescope. So pretty. The hot tub was fun.

We come here once a year to bond and get closer to God! This cabin, in the perfect location in the mountains, brings about a spiritual experience that can not be put in to words. I look forward to coming next year!

We went hiking, eating, and enjoyed the "rec roon" and the hot tub. It is very nice and the hot tub was awesome. This place is the coolist place that I have ever been to. It is so friendly and cozy. It was great.

All the comforts of home and more! There is a difference in staying in someone's home and staying at a "rental property". MANY, MANY NICE TOUCHES! You have yourselves a little heaven on earth in this cabin. I hope we're able to visit many more times.

A favorite moment was seeing three red foxes at the cabin. We saw the smaller of the three twice! We also saw shooting stars while sitting in the hot tub. You have a lovely home. We enjoyed all of the perks, and the view was wonderful. We love the mountains. It was nice to be in a place that had such a homey feel. We wish you great success with your home-away-from-home.

We had a great time at Tuckaway Ridge! Blue Ridge is a great little town filled with many wonderful people! We loved the down-to-earth atmosphere everywhere we went! At the cabin we enjoyed the gameroom (my one son is now a pool shark), hot tub at night, and especially the family meals, the views, the outdoor fireplace (although it was hot during our stay we still sat around the fireplace) and watching "the great outdoors". Thank you Steve and Terri - your home-away-from-home made our trip to Blue Ridge extra special. We hope to visit in the Fall!.

Your home is so pretty! Thank you for letting us stay here. This was an amazing vacation! Blue Ridge is such a cute little town and the people are wonderful! Hopefully we can come back and visit!

The first night a fox ran across the front yard- Wow! We hung out in town, John booked a fishing trip on the Noontoola - he loved it! Ellen & I visited quilt shops. Best was being here and talking, fixing food, and the hot tub. We love this place.

Your home is fantastic. We had everything we needed and more. The view is absolutely beautiful. We can't wait to come back for some relaxation and fun.

We wanted to gather our sons and daughter-in-laws together for a family vacation. At Tuckaway Ridge we had plenty of space to spread out and several spots large enough to gather as a family. What a beautiful cabin in such a special location. Tuckaway Ridge is awesome. Our favorite moments were being together as a family, bonding with the grandchildren, and family worship service on Sunday morning. We are glad we found you on the Internet. Tony's Trail is great.

We floated down the Toccoa on tubes at the Toccoa Valley Campground, walked around Blue Ridge, and hung out at the beautiful cabin. We were pleasantly surprised by the space in the cabin. We could easily have invited another family to share in the fun. As my son said "I feel at home". There is definitely a cozy feel to the living room and kitchen. My kids have never slept as well as they did in the bunkroom, (the "cave"). We hope to come back soon.

We loved being together in the cabin, laughing, talking, sitting by the fires, enjoying the hot tub. Some went in to Dawsonville to shop on Saturday and others shopped in Blue Ridge. A few of us slept at the cabin and rested. We loved playing games (and of course eating).

We just spent time at the cabin, relaxing, laughing, and eating great food. God bless this place and all that come to dwell within!!!

This is truly one of the nicest cabins I have been to between the views and the inside decor - truly lovely. It was especially ice because the kitchen was so well equipped. We look forward to coming back in the summer.

The cabin was very clean, functional, and a place to entertainment for all. Fireplace in living room got lots of use, enjoyed many meals (kitchen has everything you need). The views are awesome and it is a quick trip in to the town of Blue Ridge. Thanks for sharing your lovely cabin (home) with us.

The Santa Train was wonderful! Our children were amazed & are more excited than ever for Christmas! The outside fireplace was great to have on this cold weekend. The surround sound in the living room made our Christmas movies come to life! We really enjoyed the house and made 2 wonderful meals in the perfect kitchen. We had a great time!

We loved the cabin! We’d love to come back! The view was out favorite part and we loved the fireplaces, too. The living room and ping pong were great family gathering rooms. We had the best time!

Favorite moments were sitting by the outdoor fireplace, playing Uno and Trouble, sitting in the hot tub, special times with family, just enjoying time with each other at the cabin, family bible reading.

We can’t find the words to thank you enough for the wonderful times we had at Tuckaway Ridge. Everything was perfect – the weather, the local people, the beautiful constructed home, the hot tub, everything. Don’t change a thing!

This was our last chance this summer to get together as a family and Tuckaway Ridge turned out to be perfect – from the pool table and ping pong to the spectacular views, to the 2 king beds (so we did not have to fight with my Mom and Dad as to who got the king!) everything made you all have done made our family gathering very special.

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your house, we always feel right at home. We love the well stocked kitchen and how easy it is to find everything. We can not wait to go again!

Thank you so much for everything. Tuckaway Ridge is a beautiful cabin and we had an absolute blast. The cabin was a warm and inviting place with plenty of room. To put this experience in to words would be the most impossible thing I could think of, but I will try anyway. Finding this place was like an adventure in itself I almost wished it could have lasted. Upon first seeing this gorgeous cabin, Geofrey near had a heart attack, but it turned out to be a little indigestion. The time we spent here ranks upon the all time favorite times in my life (just behind meeting Carl Weathers). Collectively as a group we probably gained 123 pounds from eating too much. Unhealthy amounts, even! We loved every aspect of this cabin, from the comically small bunk beds to the webcam. (Smile) I know I speak for my entire party when I say I will look back at the time spent at Tuckaway Ridge with fond delight. Thank you and God Bless,

We had such a great time at Tuckaway Ridge! We have been vacationing with friends for 8 years and this place was by far the best place! Everything was well stocked. We brought everything from dishwashing detergent to pots and pans (and really did not need it). Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It truly was a blessing for all of us and we are already planning to come back before the end of the year. We have made wonderful memories here and hope to make many more. Even though you guys were not here, thank you for your hospitality, for your warm emails, and all the great amenities. Blessings to you and your family.

Played in the snow! Went on scenic drives, played pool, ping ppong, watced movies, relaxed in the hot tub, played golf, cooked and grilled. Just what the Doctor ordered. Your cabin is great – I could feel the stress melting away! We hope to be back next year – (or sooner).

Favorite moments included a night in the hot tub with the family and sitting in front of the outside fireplace, as well as Amicalola Falls and spending time with all our new family.

It dawned on us as were were leaving Blue Ridge that we hadn’t written a message in your guest book. We certainly meant to as our stay there was just perfect in every way. For the last 6 years our group of friends have been to the North Georgia mountains/lakes/creeks for a getaway and everyone agreed that your home was the best place we have ever stayed. It was so homey and the views were beautiful. The kitchen was stocked so well and we all love to cook. The porch fireplace was great. We kept both fires going, which made the food, wine, and games even better. We will definitely be booking again for our next year’s trip. Probably plan on going earlier next year but you will hear from us again. Thanks again for opening up your home and allowing us to have such a nice time. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Thanksgiving Family Vacation – We all noted the “perfect” days we had – could not think of one thing we needed or wanted- except maybe power on Thanksgiving morning due to a storm! A very special time to reconnect & grow our families love. We laughed until we cried – it really does not get much better. We loved the square dining table. Well stocked kitchen and game room – everyone stayed busy and happy! We are forever grateful to you for sharing your home with us.

3 generations gathered fir an early family Thanksgiving. We hung out at the cabin the whole time except for a hike down to the lake on the lower road. The younger ones enjoyed the hot tub while the outside temperature was about 40 degrees.

Played poker & ate – gazed at the awesome view. Once again the cabin was as wonderful as I remembered from last year. The Master Bedroom and bath are a dream. Last year I swore I’d take a long bath and just read my book – I did, and it was all I imagined it would be!

We have stayed in many cabins in Blue Ridge and yours is especially comfortable and well done. Beautiful views, great amenities, comfy, and cozy. Many thanks for a terrific and relaxing weekend. Will come again for sure.

Our favorite moments were waking up at 730AM, sitting on the deck with a cup of chai tea and then watching the sun rise and the dew come off the mountains…BREATHTAKING! We also talked with God and my sisters – sang, danced, and listening to the passions and purpose of my sisters. I also took a 4 mile walk. I love the sights and sounds of nature.

We went whitewater rafting down the Ocoee, played games at the table, and watched football.

We went to Vogel State Park, downtown Blue Ridge for the Blue Grass Festival, went shopping, and to the Panorama Apple Orchard. We also got some great steaks from the butcher in Morganton (Enchanted Mountain). We enjoyed your cabin very much. It has a beautiful view of the mountains. I will be back – and soon. Thanks for everything.

Played Ping-Pong, went in the hot tub, enjoyed the beautiful view, played board games, and enjoyed spending time together. Watched movies, drank wine, played scrabble, walked, ate outside, and watched the Olympics. Thank you for a beautiful time with family in your little piece of paradise.

Thanks for “tucking away” our family for some last summer days together before we send our oldest son off to college and our youngest to his junior year of high school.

We went on the scenic train, tubing, whitewater rafting, shopping, to the Kangaroo Conservatory and horseback riding, and also took a pontoon boat out for a day. We ate at the cabin, we loved everything. Our kids made us crazy but we had a blast. The outdoor fireplace and the beautiful cabin made it all worth it. Enjoy the wind chime.

Enjoyed every part of this beautiful cabin and the spectacular views. Played ALL of the ganes – pool, ping pong, darts, watched a movie, listened to music ate lots of food, drank delicious wine, watched UGA play a great game – saw the sunrise – the moon all lit up – lots of stars – the hot tub was so nice. We did not leave! I have special memories of a most needed vacation.

My son and I enjoyed our stay here. We used the ping pong tables and dart board. He slept in the top bunk eben though he’s 16. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

When you have been at this 5 Star Cabin, how do you go anywhere else? This is the place to go, to relax, enjoy, rest and lay back and enjoy nature in a beautiful cabin. It does not get any better than this. We will be abck again!

We had three families here and everyone could do their thing without feeling cramped. The view was wonderful and we all looked forward to meeting on deck. We had a blast and look forward to next year.

Our group agreed that this was one of the best vacations ever! The basement/rec room area was perfect for the kids to hang out, not to mention the bunk beds themselves were a real treat! The adults enjoyed family games in the living room and preparing meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The kids loved horseback riding and the Scenic Train ride. We’ve always been city guys and taken urban trips so I wasn’t sure spending 5 days out in the mountains would be my cup of tea – I was wrong! We all had a terrific time at Tuckaway. We’ve been to and stayed at many fine places all over the world and I’d have to say Tuckaway Ridge is one of my favorites. You folks have created a little slice of heaven here and I’d like to thank you for allowing us to share it for a little while. There are many adjectives I will add here…warm, inviting, peaceful, serene, simple, relaxing, and CLASSY! From the minute we walked in we were stunned and excited about the place. I kept pinching myself. How lucky we were to stay here…and how time flew! It went quickly whether you were relaxing and doing nothing or participating in all the activities the area has to offer!

From seeing the pictures on the website, we expected the cabin to be nice. But when we arrived we were completely blown away. Tuckaway Ridge far exceeded our expectations. The house was impeccable and filled with so many special touches. We enjoyed our stay here so much that we are already planning to come back again. Thanks Terri and Steve for opening up your home. "The house was absolutely perfect for our family. Our 1 year old and 3 year old had a blast. Our 3 year old spent most of her time in the “restaurant” bar downstairs preparing meals for the rest of the family. The weather was gorgeous and we did go walking some, but most of our time was spent together indoors. We will have many cherished memories of just relaxing and visiting in this beautiful environment. The gathering areas in the house were perfect for bringing the family together and we're all hoping to come back next year. Thanks so much for opening your home for us to visit."
